9th ANNUAL BAJA CHALLENGE
Once again, San Diego’s
real estate/building and related industries are being
challenged to build homes for destitute families in Eastern
Tijuana. Due to the overwhelming popularity of this event, we are limiting the number of homes and teams this year, and our goal in 2008 is to build 40 homes. No experience is necessary,
but it is greatly appreciated.
Each team is
responsible for raising the $3,750 cost of materials per
house and providing a volunteer building crew. An additional $800 can also be donated, at each team's option, to provide an outhouse for the family whose home they are building.
When: Saturday, September 20, 2008
All day from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
